It’s review time of my latest read which I have absolutely loved! I am trying to read more books by South Asian Authors, and I can totally say this did not disappoint!

It was like a Bollywood movie unfolding in each chapter! I absolutely loved Ananya and Aadar! From the beginning of their onset relationship of rivals to lovers, the whole atmosphere was to fall in love with!

The storyline was so beautifully written and thought out! Each chapter had its own significance and really brought the whole story togther!! And I absolutely loved the ending, really did make me smile reading the last few pages! 😍😍

Reading Corner Update 😍

I have been so excited to work on my reading corner to elevate my experience, and I can finally say after today’s successful @ikeauk trip my idea has come to life 🥹

Finally added some beautiful greenery to my area, as well as a lamp that serves both as an atmosphere light and a reading lamp! I cannot wait to settle down with a blanket and my book this evening 🤩

Celebrating Mother’s Day with @bloomsburypublishing at @thenestintreehouse 💕💐

I had the most amazing morning celebrating Mother’s Day with Bloomsbury yesterday! I took my mother in law along, and the morning was packed with exciting activities! 😍

We saw all the amazing publications on offer, made our own flower bouquets, a spot of colouring, some silent reading which got me hooked into Whistler and the most amazing brunch indeed! An absolute beautiful day to celebrate a beautiful event!! 💕🥰

Thank you so much @emilymiahreads , @emilymwrites_ for such a beautiful event, and the cute book presents for myself and my plus one! I’m so excited to read Eat Pray Love ❤️

Girl Dinner 🍽️

Tonight’s dinner is a leftover favourite! 👀

I had veggies and leftover rice in the fridge so what better than making a fried rice dish!! 🤤

The best combination for sauce for the fried rice I believe, is @sriracha_fg and @heinz_uk 😍 literally divine!!

All you need is:
✨ Leftover Rice
✨ Veggies / choice of meats
✨ @heinz_uk tomato ketchup
✨ @sriracha_fg
✨ 3 garlic cloves
✨ Onions
✨ 1 tsp cumin and coriander powder
✨ 1/2 tsp turmeric
✨ dash of soy sauce

All you need to do is sauté the onions and garlic for a few mins in the pan. Once slightly brown, add whatever veggies or meats if you prefer! Add in the spices, and sriracha, tomato ketchup and soy sauce! Add in leftover cold rice and mix. Cook for 10/15 mins until all your additions are cooked through! Dress with fresh coriander and voila- easy peasy tasty Fried Rice 😍

Firstly a massive thank you to @headofzeus and Dana Stabenor for having me on the blog tour of The Harvey Girl! It has been delightful!

Review: This was a very insightful 1890 introduction, and to the American West Side! This really felt one of those classic stories as a mystery, where unheard of the woman would seek independence.

The characters were very thought out very well, and each played a great role in supporting Clare being the main independent character. She was a woman who knew what she wanted, very straight to the point type of lady! She had to solve all the mysteries facing difficulties at each stage making it harder, but she did not give in!

I absolutely loved how the chapters were laid out, and how the whole storyline flew through so smoothly! Very insightful and enjoyable!

Firstly a massive thank you to @instabooktours , @harper360uk , @harper360ya and @lancerubinparty for having me on this blog tour! It has been quite interesting! 👀

Review: Okay, so I did enjoy this book. I enjoyed the concept, the style of writing, the flow of how the storyline line went and how the characters were portrayed and played out!

The characters defo had their pros and cons indeed! They were full of different emotions, and living your 16th birthday again and again and being stuck in a time loop is crazy!!

I do think this is a great read for young adults indeed, and I do think this would be quite enjoyable for them! I think slightly under my age reading, but I did quite enjoy it!

Saturday Night Curry Night 😍

One of my favourite dishes to make is a Spicy Fish Curry! It always hits the point when you want something as delicate as fish, but with a spicy kick 🌶️

Ingredients

For the Curry Paste:
1 small onion
4 tbsp Kashmiri Red Chilli Powder
4 tbsp Ginger and Garlic Paste
2 tsp turmeric powder
6 cloves
1 tsp coriander powder
2 tsp cumin powder
1/2 tsp fenugreek powder
1/2 tsp salt
Dash of water

For the curry:
Oil
1 tsp mustard seeds
2 large onions finely chopped
1 tbsp tomato puree
1 tin chopped tomatoes
1/2 tsp red chilli powder
1 tsp salt
1/2 cup of hot water
Finely chopped coriander
750g white fish

Method:
Blitz together for the curry paste- red onion, red chilli powder, ginger/garlic paste, turmeric powder, cloves, coriander powder, cumin powder, fenugreek powder, salt and dash of water into a smooth consistency and set aside for later.

Heat oil in a casserole pot, and add mustard seeds. Let the mustard seeds pop, and add in the finely chopped red onions. Let the onion turn a golden brown colour.

Once the onions are golden brown add in the curry paste we set aside earlier. Cook for 5-7 minutes to allow the spices cook though.

Add in tomato puree and chopped tomato tin and stir until thoroughly mixed. Add red chilli powder and salt to the sauce.

Add water to loosen up the curry, but not too much, as the fish will also release some water whilst cooking.

Cover and cook the curry sauce for 15 minute, stirring every so often.

Add freshly chopped coriander and stir.
Cover for another 2 minutes.

Lay in the chopped fish pieces into the curry mixture. Cover and cook until fish is cooked through delicately. Stir again and let it sit for a minute or two.

Dress with freshly chopped coriander and serve with fresh chapattis and rice!

Tip- for a tangy flavour, squeeze some fresh lemon onto your own serving!!

Firstly a massive thank you to @tandemcollectiveuk and @sophiehamiltonauthor for having me part of Februarys Chapter and Chat Book Club read of Every Reason Why 🥰

Review: I thoroughly enjoyed this! It was all the elements of a great romance, from the initial attraction to conflict, to falling in love! I won’t lie off the cover it looks like a thriller, but in reality it is the most heart warming romance novel!!

I absolutely loved Leah and Jackson, we literally could tell there was going to be romantic tension between them both from the start! It was so beautiful to see how they found each other as their safe spots and were able to open up to each other!!

Hazel was an absolute dream! Always need a character that’s a supportive soul!! The storyline was beautifully written, it was easier to follow, and the short chapters were a dream!!!

Overall an enjoyable read, and I’m definitely looking forward to book 3! 😍😍
